Definitions:

Severity 1 Alerts occur when an issue affects a large group of individuals; or is mission critical and there is no workaround available.

Severity 2 Alerts occur when an issue affects a group of individuals, and no workaround is available.

Severity 3 and 4 Alerts occur when there is a general service request or inquiry or the issue is of little or no impact upon the users.

Critical Issues – issues that impact a large group of individuals involving equipment failure; or are mission critical or pose a potential safety issue and there is no workaround available.
