Job Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for supporting 3CIS’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet both external and internal products and service-related requirements. This role involves quality control activities with an emphasis on report writing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of inspection checklists and records. The QC Technician works closely with field personnel and supervisors to ensure quality standards are met and assists with implementing changes as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure QC documentation is written, revised, controlled, and maintained, delivering complete QMS record-keeping.
- Check and complete checklists for quality control processes, ensuring all required steps are accurately followed.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information, statistics and trends regarding system performance.
- Prepare various reports as required by senior management.
- Assist in creating and developing inspection plans and inspection points.
- Support the implementation of quality improvements and changes as directed by senior management.
- Review all photos of tower inspections and ensure all photos have been taken.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including but not limited to all Health and Safety and Quality Management initiatives.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant post-secondary education or experience in quality control.
- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related degree with a strong mechanical component is an asset.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards.
- A comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Proficient technical writing skills to produce clear and comprehensive quality documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
