Upgrading Bandwidth and Maximizing Link Reliability
The assertion that a successful business relies upon effective communication is now a truism. Then, it becomes evident that efficient communication – and the subsequent success of a business – is more directly reliant upon practical equipment and dependable service. For this client in oil and gas production, having up-to-date service and equipment entailed increasing bandwidth and replacing older, unreliable gear. Maintaining efficient day-to-day communications necessitated increased transmission capacity through upgraded bandwidth.
Dependable communication is a critical part of maintaining smooth daily operations. Unreliable communication is not only frustrating, but it reduces profitability and productivity. Timetables must be revised and missed project updates can result in costly errors when communication is delayed or disrupted. 3CIS provided a more reliable link for the client and, as a result, they now enjoy uninterrupted communications. In order to upgrade bandwidth and maximize link reliability, 3CIS replaced the client’s equipment, installing an integrated link of Cambiums to a repeater tower and a connectorized link of Cambiums with 2-foot dishes to the final location. Although the location of the repeater tower was not on the client’s site, 3CIS was able to coordinate with the relevant contacts to ensure a timely and safe installation.
